National Forest No. F 14: Kasaria (Alteration of Boundaries) Order, 2016 (S.I. No. 46 of 2016)

24th June, 2016 Statutory Instruments GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 46 OF 2016 The Forests Act (Act No. 4 of2015) The National Forest No. F 14: Kasaria (Alteration of Boundaries) Order, 2016 IN EXERCISE of the powers contained in section ten of the Forests Act, 2015, the following Order is made: 1. This Order may be cited as the Kasaria National Forest No. F 14: (Alteration of Boundaries) Order, 2016. 2. The boundaries of the National Forest No. F 14: Kasaria as described in the Schedule to the Forests (National Forest No. F 14) (Declaration) Order, 1946, are altered as described in the Schedule. 3. Gazette Notice No. 72 of 1946 is amended accordingly. 531 Title Alteration of boundaries Gazette Notice No. 72 of 1946 Amendment of Gazette Notice No. 72 of 1946 Copies of this Statutoty Instrument can be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O.Box 30136, 10101 Lusaka Price K4 .00 each 532 Statutory Instruments SCHEDULE (Paragraph 2) 24th June, 2016 KAsARIA LocAL FOREST No. F 14 Starting at W406 a comer beacon on the south-western boundary of Mineral Area No. 430m Mutupa, the boundary runs in a straight line on a true bearing of approximately 280 degrees for a distance of approximately 3,700 metres to beacon JMI on the right road reserve of the Ndola/Mufulira road; thence in a westerly direction on the right road reserve of the Ndola/Mufulira road, the boundary run along this road for a distance ofapproximately 9,750 meters to the bridge on the confluence of the North Mutundu and South Mutundu Rivers; thence in an easterly direction up the South Mutundu River to the point where it crosses the line W409 - W408, the south-western boundary of Mineral Area No. 429m, South Mutundu; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south­ western boundaries of that Mineral Area and the Mineral Area No. 430m, Mutupa, through the comer Beacons W408 and W407 to Beacon W406, the point of starting. Included within the above defined boundaries but excluded from the Forest Reserve is a portion ofNdola/Mufulira main road right strip reserve. The above described area, in extent 3,273 hectares approximately is shown bordered green on Plan No. 445 (Kasaria Forest No. 14) deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General, signed by the Surveyor-General dated 10th February, 2016.
