11th August, 2017 Statutory Instruments GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 62 OF 2017 The Forests Act (Act No. 4 of2015) The Local Forest No. 27: Lusaka East (Alteration of Boundaries) Order~ 2017 IN EXERCISE of the powers contained in section 17 of the Forests Act, 2015, the following Order is made: 1. This Order may be cited as the Local Forest No. 27:Lusaka East (Alteration of Boundaries) Order, 2017. 2. The boundaries of the Local Forest No. 27: Lusaka East as described in the Schedule to the Forest (Local Forests No. 27) Declaration Order, 1996, are altered as described in the Schedule. 3. Statutory instrument No. 161 of 1996 is amended accordingly. SCHEDULE (Paragraph 2) LocAL FoREST No. 27: LusAKA EAsT Starting at Beacon B79, the boundary runs in a north-easterly direction passing through Beacon B82 then to Beacon 872 on the western boundary ofFarm No. 3 82a; thence in a south-easterly direction to Beacon B91 crossing over Chalimbana River to Beacon GAU, thence along the western side of Farm No. 28a to Beacon MA221, through to Beacon F3; thence along the western boundary ofFarm No. 298a for a distance ofapproximately 2.2 Kilometers; thence in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1.4 Kilometres to the ea~tern boundary of Lot 4426/M; thence in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 1.5 Kilometers on the right bank of the Chalimbana River; thence down the Chalimbana Rive.r bordering with Farm No. 2241 and Farm 2242 to its confluence with an unnamed stream; thence up stream to the western corner of Farm No. 2241; thence in a north•easterly direction to Beacon B83 and to Beacon B79, the point of starting. The above described area in extent 1697 Hectares approximately, is shown boarded green on plan FR I 0/3 deposited in the office of the Surveyor General signed 7th July, 2017.
