2 Commencement..........................................................................................2 Government (Amendment) Act No. 42 of 2019 1 REPUBLIC OF VANUATU Assent: 10/01/2020 Commencement: 06/02/2020 GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT NO. 42 OF 2019 An Act to amend the Government Act [CAP 243]. Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-
1 Amendment The Government Act [CAP 243] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Section 22A (definitions of “security” and “seditious intention”) Repeal the definitions.
3 Paragraph 22D(b) Delete “; and”, substitute “.”
4 Paragraphs 22D(c),(d),(e),(f),(g),(h) and (i) Repeal the paragraphs.
