The use of poison in the Acholi District for the purpose of killing baboons causing or being likely to cause loss, damage or destruction of or to :1nything on occupied hnd or crops or domestic animals is ,tuthoriscd subject to the followi1u,; conditions {a) such poison shall be t1,;cd only on occupied bnd; and ( b) such poison shall not be handled or controlled by :rny person other than :1 \·cnnin poisoner duly appointed by the Acholi District administration. 2. The use is hereby :wthoriscd of poison (a), by the Bunyoro Ranching Company Limited for the purpose of killing hyenas on the company's estate; (b) by the Garnc \Varden, Kararnoja, for the purpose of killing hyenas in Karamoja District in such areas as he rnay think necessary for the protec t ion of human lift , ;1 nd d r1niest ic :1 n imals.
