No. 124-24th June. 1997 LEGAL NOTICE No. 146 REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO THE FISHERIES ACT, CHAP. 67:51 REGULATIONS MADE BY THE MINISTER UNDER SECTION 4 OF THE FISHERIES ACT THE FISHERIES (CONSERVATION OF MARINE TURTLES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1997 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Conservation Citation of Marine Turtles) (Amendment) Regulations, 1997. 951 2. The Fisheries (Conservation of Marine Turtles) Regulations, Regulations 2, d d t' 11 4 and 8 of 1991 amen e as 10 ows: Legal Notice (a) in regulation 2 by deleting the words "the trawl body" 65 of 1994 ' amended occurring in the interpretation of "turtle excluder device", occurring in line two and substituting the words "the body of the trawl net"; (b) in regulation 4, by inserting the words "net that is in operational use on a" immediately after the word "every", occurring in line one; and (c) in regulation 8 by (i) deleting the word "and" occurring at the end of paragraph (a); (ii) deleting the word "Republic." occurring at the end of paragraph (b), and substituting the words "Republic; and"; (iii) adding the following new paragraph: "(c) the type and specifications of turtle excluder devices.".
