Syrian Arab Republic Ministry of Agriculture & Agrarian Reform RESOLUTION NO. 997/W In accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Legislative Decree No. 30 dated 25 August 1964 which includes the law on proiccilon of aquatic life , and upon proposal of the Directorate of Fisheries, and within the requirements of public interest. The Minister of Agriculture & Agrarian Refonn " has decided the following: Article 1 The drag nets are 110t allowed for Fishing in fresh waters, nor a period of three years. Article 2 This resolution shall be published, and communicated to whoever may be bound to comply With, and is considered valid as from the date of publication. Damascus, 9 May 1987 Signed Dr. Eng.
