In exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 107 of the Fisheries (Management and Development) Act 1994, the Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2006. 2. The fees and royalties set out in the Schedule shall be charged for the issuance of the licences set out in the Schedule. SCHEDULE (A) INDUSTRIAL FISHING LICENCES 1. Categories Al and 2: Shrimps and Cephalopod Trawlers Period Fees (i) 6 months US$150 for GRT up to 250 GRT US$40 000 for over 259 GRT 12 months US$200 for GRT up to 250 GRT Royalties (ii) 6 months US$10 000 per vessel (iii) 12 months US$18 000 per vessel (iv) 6 months Discretionary but not less than US$6 500 p 2. Categories A3 and A4: Demersal and Mid-Water Trawlers (fish) Period Fees (i) 6 months US$1520 for GRT up to 250 GRT US$40 000 per vessel over 259 GRT 12 months US$150 for GRT up to 250 GRT US$40 000 per vessel over 250 GRT Period Royalties (i) 6 months US$10 000 per vessel (ii) 12 months US$15 000 per vessel 3.
