SEWERAGE AND DRAINAGE ACT (CHAPTER 294) SEWERAGE AND DRAINAGE (COMPOSITION OF OFFENCES) REGULATIONS 2006 ARRANGEMENT OF REGULATIONS Regulation 1. Citation and commencement 2. Compoundable offences 3. Revocation In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 (1) of the Sewerage and Drainage Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sewerage and Drainage (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2006. Compoundable offences 2. The following offences may be compounded by the Board in accordance with section 70 of the Act: (a) any offence under section 11 (4), 14 (4), 16 (1), 18 (1), 19 (2), 20 (1), 31 (5), 34 (2), 35 (2), 41 (1) or 46 of the Act; (b) any offence under regulation 3, 4 (1), 5 or 6 (1), read with regulation 14, of the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works) Regulations (Rg 2); (c) any offence under regulation 4, read with regulation 6, of the Sewerage and Drainage (Surface Water Drainage) Regulations (Rg 4); and 1 S 269/2006 (d) any offence under regulation 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11, read with regulation 14, of the Sewerage and Drainage (Trade Effluent) Regulations (Rg 5).
