PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OF THE SEA ACT (CHAPTER 243, SECTION 33) PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OF THE SEA (COMPOSITION OF OFFENCES) REGULATIONS Rg 6 G.N. No. S 63/1991 REVISED EDITION 2001 (31st May 2001) [1st February 1991] Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Composition of Offences) Regulations. Composition of offences 2. —(1) Any of the offences specified in the Schedule may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $2,000. (2) The offence punishable under section 24(5) of the Act (opposing or obstructing detention of a ship) may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $500. THE SCHEDULE (a) Sections 5, 6(1), 9, 10(1), 11(6), 14(1), (2) or (3), 15(4), 16, 22(3) or 24(1) of the Act. (b) Regulation 9 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Oil) Regulations 2006 (G.N.
