ENDANGERED SPECIES (IMPORT AND EXPORT) ACT 2006 (ACT 5 OF 2006) ENDANGERED SPECIES (IMPORT AND EXPORT) ACT (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) NOTIFICATION 2006 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification: Citation and commencement 1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2006 and shall come into operation on 14th June 2006. Amendment of Schedule 2. The Appendices in the Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006 are amended — (a) by inserting, immediately before the sub-heading relating to the taxon ‘‘Dermatemydidae Central American river turtle’’ (at page 70), the following sub-heading and item: ‘‘ Chelydridae Snapping turtles Macroclemys temminckii (United States of America) ’’; and 1 S 290/2006 I (b) by inserting in Appendix III, immediately after the item ‘‘Geoemyda spengleri (China)’’ under the sub-heading relating to the taxon ‘‘Emydidae Box turtles, freshwater turtles’’ (at page 70), the following item: ‘‘Graptemys spp. (United States of America)’’.
