r31 st December 2007] Supplement to Dfficiol (;m.Pffp 141 S.1. 48 of 2007 FISHERJES ACT (Cap 82) Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, 2007 In exercise of the powers conferred by secuon 40 of the Fisheries Act, 1986, the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources and Transport hereby makes the following Regulations L These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment)Regulations, 2007. 2. The Pisheriee Reguicncno, 1987, ere amended in regulation 19 as follows (a) in sub-regulation (5) (a), by repealing the word "during the closed season" and substituting therefor the words "except during the open season." (b) insub-regulation(6)by (i) repealing the definition of the words "closed season"; (ii) inserting after the definition of "hcmard in the berried state", thefollowing definition: "open season" means the period or periods within any year thatis determined as the "OPCIl season" by the Minister by Notice published in the Official Gazette.
