13 [Legal Notice 4] THE FISHERIES ACT 1998 (No. 6 of 1998) THE FISHERIES (FEES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2007 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 and 59 of the Fisheries Act, 1998, read with regulation 3 of the Fisheries Regulations 1972, I, NOLLEN LENI, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, do hereby make the following regulations I. These Regulations may by cited as the Fisheries (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2007, and shall come into operation on the date of the publication in the Gazettee. 2. Regulation (2) (i) and (ii) of the Second Schedule is amended as follows; (i) Purse Seine (a) Greater than 500 GRT IJSD$40,000 (b) 300 to 500 GRT USD$35,000 (c) 150- 300 GRT USD$20,000 • (d) 150 or less USD$12,500 (ii) Long line (a) Long range Greater than 200 GRT USD$20,000 (b) Short range 200 or less USD$12,500 (c) 50 - 100 GRT USD$10,000 Dated this eighth day of Januaty 2007 NOLLEN LENT Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources
