( 1) This Act may be called the Land Acquisition Short title and (Sindh Amendment) Act, 2019. commencement. ( 2) It shall come into force at once. 2 . In the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, hereinafter Amendment of referred to as the said Act, in section 3, in clause section 3 of Act ( c), after the words "any officer", the words "not No.I of 1894. below the rank of Assistant Commissioner BPS(17)" shall be inserted. 3. In the said Act, in section 23, in sub-section Amendment of (2), after the word "Court", the words "and section 23 of Act Collector" shall be inserted. No.I of 1894.
