'- , "( 6) Except approval, pr<:>mulgation and execution of scientific based Wor~ing • Plans and Management Plans -for Private·~ orests and . Protected Forests as prescribed under Section-82 of this· Act, the - -Government shall not have the power to approve and execute amnesty ,. . schemes or-~isposal -policy for any.-illegally extracted timber from -Private Forests and Protected ·Forests. All such illegally extracted - . timber shallbe.seized, confiscated and destroyed by the Government through the Department. For this purpose, a Forest Officer notbelow the rank • of Divisional Forest Office~· with. prior approval of Chief -Conservator ofFor~st shall execute the destruction of such wood ·at 'approved sites as·dee me~ appropriate by the Department, in pre.sence of an officer of District Administration not below:the rank ofBPS~l 7." . r . .• , FIDA MUHAMMAD NASHAD, .
