(2) Amendment of Section 9, Ordinance No.IX Of 1971. Omission '>f Section 10, Ordinance No. IX of 1971. 2 WHEREAS, it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Sea Fisheries Ordinance, 1971 in the manner hereinafter appearing: It is hereby enacted as follows: 2. (I) This Act may be called the Balochistan Sea Fisheries (Amendment) Act 2014. It shall come into force at once. 3. In the Balochistan Sea Fisheries Ordinance, 1971 (Ordinance No. IX of 1971 ). hereinafter ref erred as the said Act, in Section 9. for the second proviso the following shall be substituted, namely: .. Provided further that fishing craft/trav. ler operating \Nith the banned fishing gear/net or without valid fishing license shall also be liable to confiscation along \\ ith the banned fishing gear/net; and on conviction the banned fishing gear/net shall be destroyed in the presence of a Magistrate. while the fishing craft/trawler shall be auctioned through wide publicity in leading newspapers·· . 4. . In the above said Act Section I O shall be omitted. s~cretary.
