Series of 1986. as amended by DAO No. 2003-41 dated August 21, 2003, is her~by further amended, as follows: "Section 11 and 12. Authority to Establish and Permit to Operate Wood Processing Plant The Authority to Establish and the Permit to Operate shall be combined into a single Permit to Establish and Operate Wood Processing Plant. This s6me permit shall also be issued for authority to acquire new equipment and to expand existing wood processing plants. The Permit to Establ ish and Operate Wood Processing Plant, shall ~e issued by the Secretary, DENR. Renewal permit shall be issued by the Regional Executive Directors concerned." In the case of resawmills complementing lumber dealers and/or woodworking shops, the provisions or General Merno,011<.lum Ou.Jc:r No. 1 &erie:s of 1900 which prescribed the delegation of authority to the REDs concerned to sign ~ermits for resaw establishment and operation shall be applied. For mini-sawmills, the provisions of DAO 96-09 which provides add~ional guidelines covering the issuance of permits to mini-sawmills shall be ehforced. Repealing Clause. All other provisions of MAO 50 series of 1986, as amended by DAO 2003-41 series of 2003 shall remain valid, and with full force and[effect. Effectivity. This order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation and upon acknowledgment of t~e UP Law Center. ' ~.
