40 INDEPENDENT STATE OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA. STATUTORY INSTRUMENT. No . 3 of 1989 . Fisheries (Amendment) Regulation 1989, Being a Regulation to the amend the Fisheries Regulation (Chapter 214) MADE by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advise of the National Executive Council under the Fisheries Act (Chapter 214) FEES (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 8) Section 8 of the Principal Regulation is amended (a) by repeal in g Subsection (1) and substituting the following: "(1) In this section "va1ue", in relation to fish means the value (a) based on the actual landed c.i.f. (cost, insurance, freight) price; and (b) at an acceptable market place from time to time determined by the Minister."; and (b) in Subsection (2) (i) by deleting from Paragraph (a) the amount "K30.00" and substituting "K50.00"; and (ii) by repealing Paragraph (b) and substituting the following: (b) 6% of the value of the fish caught pursuant to that licence during the period of the licence. "; and (c) in Subsection (5) by deleting "Subsection (1) " and substituting 'Subsect44on (2)"; and (d) in Subsection (6) by deleting the amount "K30.00" and substituting 'K50.00".
