NATIONAL PARKS AMENDMENT ACT 2001 2001 No 73 [26 September 2001] ANALYSIS (List of Sections) 1. Title 2. Commencement 3. Existing national parks Legislative history The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows: .Commencement— This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. .Existing national parks— Section 6 of the principal Act is amended by adding the following subsection: ``(4)By virtue of Order in Council dated 3 April 2000 (Gazette 1 June 2000, p 1281), Urewera National Park is now called Te Urewera National Park.'' Legislative history 20 September 2001 Divided from Statutes Amendment Bill (Bill 97-2), third reading This Act is administered in the Department of Conservation.
