Horticultural Prescribed Products (Nectarines) Order 1987 (SR 1987/357) Note This order is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. PURSUANT to section 24 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Overseas Trade and Marketing made in compliance with section 25 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order. Contents 1 Title and commencement 2 Interpretation 3 Nectarines declared to be a prescribed product 4 Nectarines to be subject to export licensing 5 Recognised product group 1 Title and commencement  (1) This order may be cited as the Horticultural Prescribed Products (Nectarines) Order 1987. (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. 2 Interpretation  In this order,— The Act means the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987 Nectarines means the product specified in clause 3 of this order. 3 Nectarines declared to be a prescribed product  The following product is hereby declared to be a prescribed product for the purposes of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987:  Nectarine, fruit of Prunus persica var. nectarina. Clause 5 was amended, as from 27 January 1989 by clause 2 Horticultural Prescribed Products (Nectarine) Order 1987, Amendment No 1 (SR 1989/3) by substituting the words “The New Zealand Summerfruit Export Council Limited” for the words “The Summerfruit Export Council”. Clause 5 was further amended, as from 10 November 2000, by clause 4 Horticultural Prescribed Products (Nectarines) Amendment Order 2000 (SR 2000/225), by substituting the words “Summerfruit New Zealand Incorporated” for the words “The New Zealand Summerfruit Export Council Limited”.
