2010/55 Fisheries (Southern Blue Whiting Total Allowable Catch) Amendment Notice 2010 Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, theMinister of Fish eries, after having regard to thematters specified in that section, gives the following notice. Dated at Wellington this 22nd day of March 2010. Hon David Carter, Acting Minister of Fisheries. Explanatory note This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its gen eral effect. This notice, which comes into force on 31 March 2010, amends the Fisheries (Southern Blue Whiting Total Allowable Catch) No tice 2000. The amendment increases the total allowable catch for southern blue whiting in the quota management area SBW6I (Campbell Rise) from 20 000 tonnes to 23 460 tonnes. The increase applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2010. Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989. Date of notification in Gazette: 25 March 2010.
