This notice is made under the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regula tions 1999 (the regulations). It comes into force on the day after the date of its notifi cation in the Gazette and revokes itself on 17 May 2021. This notice relates to a customary food gathering area/rohe moana of the tangata whenua represented by Ōnuku Rūnanga. Notice is given of the appointment of 2 Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana. The Minister for Primary Industries made the new appointments under regulation 9 of the regulations. The Minister did so at the request of Ōnuku Rūnanga. The powers of the Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki are set out in the regulations. Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
