Amendmept itt Sec t~ Qn 2 of the 1989 Ne pal Water Supply Corporation Act Sub-Secti0ns 2.1.3 ann 2.1.4 of Section 2 of the 1989 NePal Water i~uPPlyCorporationAct (hereinafter called the principalao~) have been replaced by the following Sub Sections 2.1.3 and 2.1.4: 2.1.3 Chairman means the Chairman of the Corporation designated or appointed under Section 11. 2.1.~ h=escribea or as prescribed means preooribp,d or in the mannpr prescribpd in the rules or bye-rule~ framed under this act. 3. Amengment 1J1 S,ection ., of the Principal Act The term "T.own Panchayat" ,occurring in Snb-Section ~.1 of Section 3 of the principal act, has been changed to "l~luniciPality". 4. Amendment in Section 19 of the Principal Act The fo;J.ilowing SUb-Sectio:q 19.3 has been added aftpr Sub-Section 19~2 of Section 19 of' the Principal act: 19. 3 ~he Corporation may 1m·pose a fine of not more than Rs 5,000 On any Person who acts in contravention of Sub-Section 18.1.11, and demolish such • construction itself, or direct the person who has constructed i~ to demolish it. In Case the Corporation hAS to dem0lish such construction itself, it shall recover the demolition eXPenses from the concenlpd person. 9. Amendment in Section 22 of the Principal Act In Section 22 of the princiPal act: (1) The words "rules or" have been added before the words "bye-rule s" ,occurring in Sub-Section 22.1. t2) The word "Chairman",occurring in Section 22.2;has been replaced by the words "the Chairman or General ~larjager." 10. Addition of Section 25A in the Principal Act The following Section 25A has b~en added after Section 25 of the principal act: • 25A. }Ower to Fram~ Rules HP~ may frame necessary rules in ordAr to implement t he Objective of this act. 2. Natu.ral Calamities (Relief) (Second Amendment) Act. 1992 ~reamble: Whereas it is expedient to amend the 19&2 Natural Calamities (Relief) Act, now thenefore, the }arliament has enacted this law in the 21 st year of the reign of His J'ilajesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. 1. Short Title and Commencement (1) This act may be called The Natural Calamities (Relief) (Second Amendment) Act. 1992. (2,) It shall come into :fore e at once. 2. Amendment in Section 2 of the .t982 Natural Calamiti§s (ReliA!] AU In Section 2 of the 1982 ~atural Calamities (ReliRf) Act (herein~fter oalled the principal act): (1) Clause (e) has bRen deleted. (2) Clause (g) has bRen emended AS follOWS: (g) Local Committee means the local Natural Calamities Relief Committee:formad under Saotion 7.
