PROCLAMATION by the PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA No. 47 No. 557 Page 1992 DETERMINATION OF NORTHERN LIMIT OF NAMIBIAN WATERS: SEA FISHERIES ACT, 1992. Under the powers vested in me by section 4 of the Sea Fisheries Act, t992 (Act No. 29 of 1992), I herehy determine that the northern limit of the territorial sea and exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Namibia shall be a continuous line drawn from the middle of the mouth of the Kunene River to a point at 11 °44'00" East; 17°14'41" South, and shall run westerly along the parallel of latitude 17°14'41" South for a distance of two hundred (200) nautical miles.
