STATE OF SABAH I assent, TUN DATUK HAJI MOHD. SAID BIN KERUAK, Yang di-Pertua Negeri. 24TH APRIL, 1992. No. 2 of 1992 An Enactment to amend the Forests (Amendment) Enactment, 1984. ENACTED by the Legislature of the State of Sabah as follows: 1. This Enactment may be cited as the Forests (Amendment) Short title. (No.I) Enactment, 1992. 36 No.2of1992 Forests (Amendment) (No. 1) :0~':!f1t 2. The Schedule to the Forests (Amendment) Enactment 1984 19s4• is amended Amendment of Schedule. ( a) by inserting (i) immediately after the Forest Reserve "28. Mt. Pock" and the particulars relating thereto under the heading "Protection Forest - Class I", the new Forest Reserves and all the particulars relating thereto in the appropriate columns as appear in Schedule I hereto; and (ii) immediatelyaftertheForestReserve "49. Crocker Range" and the particulars relating thereto under the heading "Virgin Jungle Reserve - Class VI" the new Forest Reserve and all the particulars relating thereto in the appropriate columns as appear in Schedule II hereto; (b) by deleting the Forest Reserves and all the particulars relating thereto as appear in items 6, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 34 and 38 under the heading "Commercial Forest- Class II"; and ( c) by substituting under the heading "Commercial Forest Class II" (i) "175897" for "184527" appearing in the last columnagainsttheForestReserve "1. TrusMadi"; (ii) "61514"for"63659" appearinginthelastcolumn against the Forest Reserve "2. Bonggaya"; (iii) "123385" for "130709" appearing in the last column against the Forest Reserve "16. Ulu Tungud"; (iv) "241885" for "244021" appearing in the last column against the Forest Reserve "18. Sapulut"; and Forests (Amendment) (No. 1) No. 2 of 1992 (v) "224488" for "232418" appearing in the last column against the Forest Reserve "37. Kalabakan"; ( d) by substituting under the heading "Wildlife Reserve Class VII" "111971" for "120521" appearing in the last column against the Forest Reserve "1. Tabin Wildlife Reserve1'; ( e) by substituting (i) "250868" for "99977" as the total area under "Protection Forest - Class I"; (ii) "2530099" for "2674576" as the total area under "Commercial Forest-Class II"; (iii) "90442" for "88306" as the total area under "Virgin Jungle Reseive - Class VI"; and (iv) "132653" for "141203" as the total area under "Wildlife Reseive - Class VII''; and (f) by substituting under the heading "Summary" (i) "250868 ha" for "99977 ha" appearing in the last column against "Class I"; (ii) "2530099 ha" for "2674576 ha" appearing in the last column against ttClass 11"; (iii) "90442 ha" for "88306 ha" appearing in the last column against "Class VI"; and (iv) "132653 ha" for "141203 ha" appearing in the last column against "Class VII". 37 38 No. 2 of 1992 Name of Forest Reserve 29.
