FARMERS' ORGANIZATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 2008 PU(A) 167/2008 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Farmers' Organization Act 1973[Act 109], the Farmers' Organization Authority, with the approval of the Minister, makes the following regulations: 29 May 2008 1. Citation and commencement (1) These regulations may be cited as the Farmers' Organization Regulations (Amendment) 2008. (2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2008. 2. Deletion of regulation 30 The Farmers' Organization Regulations 1983[P.U. (A) 303/1983], which are referred to as the "principal Regulations" in these Regulations, are amended by deleting regulation 30. 3. Amendment of regulation 31 Subregulation 31(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (c). 4. Amendment of regulation 39 Regulation 39 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for subregulation (3) the following subregulation: "(3) The quorum for an Annual General Meeting of a member unit shall be not less than fifteen and for Farmers' Organization shall be not less than half of the members who are eligible to vote.".
