CONTROL OF SUPPLIES (MOVEMENT OF RUBBER WOOD) REGULATIONS 1967 PU(A) 593/1967 In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section 6 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961, the Minister hereby makes the following regulations: 1. Citation and application. These regulations may be cited as the Control of Supplies (Movement of Rubber Wood) Regulations 1967 and shall apply to the State of Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Perak. 2. Restriction of movement of rubber wood. No person shall move rubber wood from the States of Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Perak except under and in accordance with a licence issued under regulation 3 and the conditions expressed therein. 3. Issue and renewal of licence. (1) The Controller of Supplies may on application in writing in that behalf issue and renew licences to move the article described in the Schedule. (2) A licence issued under these Regulations shall be valid for the period expressed therein. 4. Cancellation or suspension of licence. The Controller may at any time without giving reasons cancel or suspend any licence issued under regulation 3 or vary or add to the conditions to which such licence is subject. 5. Method of application for licence. An application for a licence or for a renewal of a licence shall be made to the Controller of Supplies, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Application for renewal shall be made not less than one month before the date of expiry of the licence.
