LEGAL SUPPLEMENT 3435 to the Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 140 of 12 November 2022 Government Notice No. 295 of 2022 THE WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY ACT Regulations made by the Minister under section 47 of the Waste Water Management Authority Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Waste Water (Miscellaneous Waste Water Services) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022. 2. In these regulations – “principal regulations” means the Waste Water (Miscellaneous Waste Water Services) (Fees) Regulations 2012. 3. The First Schedule to the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the First Schedule set out in the Schedule to these regulations. 4. These regulations shall come into operation on 21 November 2022. Made by the Minister on 9 November 2022. SCHEDULE [Regulation 3] FIRST SCHEDULE [Regulations 3(1) and 4(2)] WASTE WATER SERVICES FEES (Rs) 1. Disposing waste water at waste water disposal station 55 per cubic metre 2. Waste water clearance, in respect of applications for morcellement permits, for – (a) first 5 lots 4,000 per lot (b) lot no. 6 to lot no. 10 6,000 per lot (c) lot no. 11 to lot no. 20 9,000 per lot (d) lot no. 21 and every subsequent 16,000 per lot 3. Clearing waste water blockage within industrial, commercial and public premises in sewered areas, where the blockage occurs within a distance of – (a) not more than 10 kilometres 2,500 per intervention (b) more than 10 kilometres 5,000 per intervention 4. Attendance to meetings and site visits convened by private developers 3,000 per visit 5. Witnessing percolation 3,000 per test 6.
