Fisheries and Marine Resources (Extension of Net Fishing Season) Regulations 2012 GN No. 173 of 2012 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 96 of 1 October 2012 THE FISHERIES AND MARINE RESOURCES ACT Regulations made by the Minister under sections 14(5) and 74of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Fisheries and Marine Resources (Extension of Net Fishing Season) Regulations 2012. 2. In these regulations — “Act” means the Fisheries and Marine Resources Act. 3. Pursuant to section 14(5) of the Act, a person may fish at the sea, any river, lake or dam with a large net, a pocket net, a gill net or a canard net from 1 October 2012 to 10 October 2012. 4. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 2012. Made by the Minister on 27 September 2012
