Environment Protection (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Regulations 2009 GN No. 78 of 2009 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 65 of 18 July 2009 THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT Regulations made by the Minister under section 96(1) and (2)(a) of the Environment Protection Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Regulations 2009. 2. In these regulations "Act" means the Environment Protection Act. 3. The Eighth Schedule to the Act is amended by repealing item 4 and replacing it by the following item – 4. Premises used in connection with an enterprise engaged in the manufacture, assembly, or importation of – 50 rupees per unit Within 20 days after the end of every month (a) (b) mobile phones; batteries for vehicles except for motorcycles, electric bicycles and electric wheel chairs; (c) pneumatic tyres, except those used for motorcycles, bicycles and wheelchairs. Made by the Minister on 7 July 2009.
