S.L. 437.47. 1. (1) The title of these regulations is Veterinary Medicinal Products (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2021 and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations". (2) The scope of these regulations is to increase legal certainty in regulation 88 of the principal regulations with regard to penalties. Substitutes regulation 88 of the principal regulations. 2. Regulation 88 of the principal regulations, shall be substituted by the following: "88. Any person who contravenes regulations 5(1), 39(1)(a)(b), 39(2)(a), 58(1) and 58A shall be guilty of an offence against article 38 and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine (multa) of not less than five thousand euro (€5,000) and not more than ten thousand euro (€10,000).".
