This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas Order (Water and Sanitation Facilities) 2022. 2. The areas, places or premises described in the Schedule are declared to be protected areas for purposes of the Act and no person shall be in the specified areas 74 Kenya Subsidiary Legislation, 2023 without permission of the prescribed Authority or the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. 3. For the purposes of this Order, the prescribed authority shall be the Managing Directors in charge of the various facilities mentioned below.
