JULY 21, 2017] PROCLAMATIONS, RULES AND REGULATIONS 675 No. 125 THE WILD LIFE PROTECTION ACT THE WILD LIFE (DECLARATION OF SHOOTING SEASON) ORDER, 2017 In exercise of the power conferred upon the Minister by section 2 of the Wild Life Protection Act, the following Order is hereby made:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Life (Declaration of Shooting Season) Order, 2017. 2. The shooting season for the year 2017, in relation to the game birds specified in paragraph 3, is declared to be the period commencing on Saturday, the 19th day of August, 2017 and ending on Sunday, the 24th day of September, 2017. 3. During the shooting season the following game kinds of birds may lawfully be hunted, namely, the— (a) Bald-pate (Patagioenas luecocephala); (b) “White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica); (c) Mourning Dove (Zenaida macriura); and (d} Pea Dove (Zenaida aurita). 4, The Wild Life (Declaration of Shooting Season) Order, 2016, is revoked.
