EMERGENCY POWERS AND PLANNING (COMPETENT AUTHORITY) (FOOD) (JERSEY) ACT 1991 Revised Edition 23.100.50 Showing the law as at 1 January 2006 This is a revised edition of the law Emergency Powers and Planning (Competent Authority) (Food) (Jersey) Act 1991 Article 1 Revised Edition – 1 January 2006 Page - 3 23.100.50 EMERGENCY POWERS AND PLANNING (COMPETENT AUTHORITY) (FOOD) (JERSEY) ACT 1991 THE EMERGENCIES COUNCIL, by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by Article 4 of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990,1 have made the following Act – Commencement [see endnotes] 1 The Minister for Economic Development2 is designated as the competent authority in relation to food for the purposes of Article 8 of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990.3 2 This Act may be cited as the Emergency Powers and Planning (Competent Authority) (Food) (Jersey) Act 1991.
