(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publicationin the Official Gazette. z, lJeJinitJons.-ln these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,- . -' .' . (a) 'Act' means the Karnataka Marine Fishing (Regulation) Act, 1986 (Kamataku Act 24 of 1986);' '. (b) 'Form' means a form appended to these rules j . . (c) 'Licence' means a licence .granted under SectlCll :; ; , ') . (d) 'Section' means a section of the Act. 3. Application for LiceDce.-(l) Every·applicadnn for grant or renewal of. licence for fishing vessel. shall be made in Ferm-I to the authorised Officer and shall be affixed . with a Court Fee Stal11P of the value of Rupee One. (2) Every application ifor the renewal of a Licence shan be made at least two months. before the date of c""riry of ~I.:ch Ike-nee. . 4~ F~ for Licence.-(l) Fee for grantor renewalof licence in respect of Fishing vessels specified in column ,(2) of the table below shall be as specified in.thecorresponding entries In coluum (3) thereof, .
