SI2(E).-ln exerciseofthe powersconferred bySections6 and 25 of the Environment (Protection) Act: 1986 (29 of 1986), iheCentral Government hereby makes thefollowingrules furthertoamend the Environment (Protection) Act. 1986,namely : I. (I) Theserules may be calledtheEnvironment (Protection)Third Amendment Rules. 2009. (2) Theyshall come into force on the date of lheir publication in the Official Gezene. 2. Inthe Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, in schedule1, (a) serial number 39 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted; and (b) in serial number 73 andthe entries relatingthereto.c- . (i) for the existing heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely : "Pharmaceutical (Manufacturingand Fonnulation) Industry." (u) for serial nwnbers(i) and (ii) and the entries relating thereto under columns3 and 4, the followingentries shall respectively be substituted, namely : S.No. Industry Standards 2 3 4 "EffluentStandards i.
