LI OF 2021 (Received the assent of the Governor on 24th January, 2022) THE ASSAM COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2021 196 THEASSA.\1 GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, FEBRUARY 01, 2022 AN ACT further to amend the Assam Cooperative Societies Act, 2007. Preamble Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Assam Act No. Cooperative Societies Act, 2007, hereinafter referred to as the IV of principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; 2012 It is hereby enacted in the Seventy- second Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Short title, 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Cooperative Societies extent and (Amendment) Act, 2021 . commencement (2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. Amendment of 2. In the principal Act, in section 6, the sub-section (3), shall be section 6 deleted.
