STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS. S.I. No. 199 of 2019 EUROPEAN UNION (SEED POTATOES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2019 2 [199] S.I. No. 199 of 2019 EUROPEAN UNION (SEED POTATOES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2019 I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/119 of 24 January 20191, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Seed Potatoes) (Amendment) Regulations 2019. 2. The European Union (Seed Potatoes) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 641 of 2015) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the definition of “Directive” the following: “‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2002/56/EC of 13 June 20022 (as amended by Council Directive 2003/61/EC of 18 June 20033, Commission Implementing Directive 2013/63/EU of 17 December 20134, Commission Implementing Decision 2014/367/EU of 16 June 20145, Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2016/317 of 3 March 20166 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/119 of 24 January 2019), and Commission Decision 2004/3/EC of 19 December 20037 (as amended by 2014/105/EU: Commission Implementing Decision of 24 February 20148), Commission Decision 2004/842/EC of 1 December 20049 (as amended by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/320 of 3 March 201610), Commission Implementing Directive 2014/20/EU of 6 February 201411, Commission Implementing Directive 2014/21/EU of 6 February 201412 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2017/547 of 21 March 201713;”.
