No. 470 of 2016 EUROPEAN UNION (IDENTIFICATION OF EQUIDAE) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2016 I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262 of 17 February 20151, and giving effect to Council Directive No. 90/427/EEC of 26 June 19902, and Commission Decision No. 92/353/EEC of 11 June 19923, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Identification of Equidae) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2016. 2. The European Union (Identification of Equidae) Regulations 2015 (S.I. No. 62 of 2016) (as amended by the European Union (Identification of Equidae) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 141 of 2016)) are amended by substi tuting for Regulation 1(1) the following— “1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Identification of Equidae) Regulations 2016.”. 3. The European Union (Identification of Equidae) (Amendment) Regu lations 2016 (S.I. No. 141 of 2016) are revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 31 August 2016.
