No. 214 of 2017 EUROPEAN UNION (CEREAL SEED) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2017 I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2016/317 of 3 March 20161 and further effect to 2004/842/EC: Commission Decision of 1 December 20042 (as amended by Com mission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/320 of 3 March 20163), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Cereal Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2017. 2. The European Union (Cereal Seed) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 217 of 2013) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by the European Union (Cereal Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 (S.I.
