No. 275 of 2017 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (VEGETABLE SEEDS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2017 I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2016/317 of 3 March 20161, hereby make the fol lowing regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations 2017. 2. The European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) Regulations 2001 (S.I. No. 306 of 2001) are amended by substituting in Regulation 2(1) for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No 129 of 2014)) the following “ ‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2002/55/EC of 13 June 20022, Council Directive 2003/61/EC of 18 June 20033, Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 20034, Council Directive 2004/117/EC of 22 December 20045, Commission Directive 2006/124/EC of 5 December 20066, Commission Directive 2009/74/EC of 26 June 20097, Commission Implementing Directive 2013/45/EU of 7 August 20138 and Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2016/317 of 3 March 2016;”.
