No. 170 of 2013 ———————— EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (OFFICIAL CONTROLS ON THE IMPORT OF FOOD OF NON-ANIMAL ORIGIN FOR PESTICIDE RESIDUES) (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) REGULATIONS 2013. 2 [170] S.I. No. 170 of 2013 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (OFFICIAL CONTROLS ON THE IMPORT OF FOOD OF NON-ANIMAL ORIGIN FOR PESTICIDE RESIDUES) (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) REGULATIONS 2013. I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 91/2013 of 31 January 20131, and Com mission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 270/2013 of 21 March 20132, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Official Controls on the Import of Food of Non-Animal Origin for Pesticide Residues)(Amendment)(No.2) Regulations 2013. 2. The European Communities (Official Controls on the Import of Food of Non-Animal Origin for Pesticide Residues) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 426 of 2011) are amended by substituting in Regulation 2(1) for the definition of “Commission Regulation 669/2009” the following— “ ‘Commission Regulation 669/2009’ means Commission Regulation (EC) No. 669/2009 of 24 July 20093 as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No. 212/2010 of 12 March 20104, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1235/2012 of 19 December 20125, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 91/2013 of 31 January 2013, and Commission Imple menting Regulation (EU) No 270/2013 of 21 March 2013;”. 3. The European Communities (Official Controls on the Import of Food of Non-Animal Origin for Pesticide Residues) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No.40 of 2013) are revoked.
