' I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, Food and For estry, in exercise of thepowers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 3 of the Animal Remedies Act, 1993(No. 23 of 1993), and being of the appropriate opinion specified in subparagraph (iv) (v), (vi) or (vii), as the case may be, of paragraph (a) of the said subsection (2), hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Animal Rem edies Consultative Committee (Prescribed Organisations) Regulations, 1~. 2. In these Regulations "the Act" means the Animal Rem edies Act, 1993 (No. 23 of 1993). 3. The following organisations are hereby prescribedfor the purposes of section 3 (2) (a) (iv) of the Act as being representative of persons whose profession or occupation relates to the' manufacture, distribution, sale or supply of animal remedies: (a) Association of Manufacturers of Veterinary Home opathic Products; (b) Federation of Irish Chemical Industries; (c) Irish Co-operative Organisation SocietyLtd.; (d) Irish Grain and Feed Association; (e) Irish Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association; if) Irish Pharmaceutical Union; (g) Irish Veterinary Association; (h) Irish Veterinary Union; Notice of the making of this Statutory InstrUment W4f published in "Iris 0ifigiUiI" of24th June. 1994. The following organisations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3 (2) (a) (v) of the Act as being representative of persons whose profession or occupation relates to livestock farming or the keeping or rearing of animals to which the Act applies or to the use of animal remedies: (a) Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association; (b) The Irish Farmers' Association. 5. The following organisations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3 (2) (a) (vi) of the Act as being concerned with the production of food of animal origin or the promotion or development of the food industry: (a) Irish Business and Employers Confederation; (b) Irish Co-operative Organisation Society Ltd.; (c) Irish Meat Processors Association; (d) The National Food Centre. 6.
