15A THE PROVISIONAL BAN ON THE IMPORT OF SHRIMPS BELONGING TO CERTAIN SPECIES INTOTHE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (Joint Regulation. of the Minister of Trade and Minister of Marine and Fishery No. 27/M-DAG/PER/6/2007 and No. PS.01/MEN/2007 dated June 29, 2007) THE MINISTER OFTRADE AND THE MINISTEROF MARINE AND FISHERY Considering: a. that since the distribution of shrimps Infected by dis eases attributable to viruses and/or bacteria on the International market still continues and on the other hand, Indonesia remains in efforts to overcoem the distribution, it is necessary to prohibit provisionally the Import of shrimps belonging to certain species into the territory of the Republic of Indonesia in a bid to prevent the shrimps from coming into the ter ritory of the Republic of Indonesia; b. that based on the consideration as meant in letter a, it is necessary to stipulate a joint regulation of the Minister of Trade and Minister of Marine and FiSh ery; In view of: 1. Article 2 (l)Excepted from the provision of Article 1 is shrimps Imported in the interests of sciences. this joint regulation are regulated further by the Direc tor General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Trade along with the DirectorGeneral of Fishery Product Processing and Marketing, Ministry of Marine and Fishery. Article6 The joint regulation comes into force as from the date of stipulation. For pubuc cognizance, the regulation shall be published by placing it in StateGazette of the Republic of Indonesia. Article3 (1)The <hrimp< as meant in Article 1 paragraph (1), whicha arriveat Indonesia's seaports on or after the date stipulated in this joint regulation must be re exported or destroyed.
