Considering a. that several countries indicated their interest to import pesticides registered in Indonesia under certain requirements; b. that based on evaluation of appticetions for the registration of pesticides submitted, the relevant pestibi~es' have fulfilled the specific requirements laid down for exports;' c. that in connection with the above matters. it is deemed necessary to register pesticides for exports. HAS DECIDED : THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE CONCERNING THE REGISTRATiON OF PESTICIDES FOR EXPORTS. Article 1 ll) The pesticldes as contained in column Z. which are reg.i§~EHe~ ,with registration numbers as listed in columns 5 in the names of 'registratio'r\ 'fi'oTHet13 as contained in columns 4 of the attachment to this decree shall only be used for export purposes and may not be domestically distributed and applied. (2) The pesticides as referred to in sub-section (1 >. according to data and information provided in relevant applications for registr,ation, shall contain active substances and take their formula forms as listed in ;column' 2 and column 3 of the attachment to this decree. Article 2 /1) The registration asrneant in Article 1. shall be valid for a period of 5 (five) years and extendable. (2J Registration of the pesticides as meant in Article 1 shall be applied for in writing before the termination of the period as stipulated in sub-section (1). Article 3 The registration holders as meant in Article 1 sub-section (1) shall be obi/gated: a. to guarantee the Quality of pesticides according to data and information provided in relevant applications for registration; b. to guarantee the containers. packages and labes of pesticides pursuant to the Decree of the Minister of AgriCulture No. 429/Kpts/Um/9/1973 and/or other provisions in force; t. to submit annual reports on the realisation of their pesticide exports to the Minister of Agriculture through the Pesticide Commission. c..~FI foO/DECEMBER 14, f999 19 Article 4 For some purposes as requested by importers, the Minister of Agriculture can consider ch anging the names, containers and labels of pesticides as meant in Article 1 sub-saction (11. ' Article 5 The registration as meant in Article 1 sub-section (11 shall be revoked jf : a. the relevant pesticides are no longer in conformity with the data and information in their applications for registration; b. the relevant pesticides prove to possess previously unknown potential, which IS hazardous to human health and the environment; c. The relevant pesticides are distributed and/or used domestically, andlor violations of the acts in force are committed; d. the re9i~rationholders fail to submit repa rts on the realisation 0 f their pesticide exports for 2 (two) years in succession.
