FISHERIES PROTECTION (SPECIFICATION OF APPARATUS) NOTICE CHAPTER 171B Empowering section VerDate:31/12/1999 (Cap 171, regulation 4A) [31 December 1999] (L.N. 295 of 1999) SECT 1 (Omitted as spent) VerDate:31/12/1999 (Omitted as spent) SECT 2 Specification of apparatus VerDate:31/12/1999 The classes of apparatus set out in the Schedule are specified for the purposes of regulation 4A(1) of the Fisheries Protection Regulations (Cap 171 sub. leg. A). SCHEDULE VerDate:31/12/1999 [section 2] Item Classes of apparatus 1. Any apparatus that produces or transmits electricity and that (a) operates in water either alone or in conjunction with a net; and (b) is capable of capturing or stunning fish. 2. Any suction device that (a) operates on the seabed; and (b) is capable of capturing fish. 3. Any dredging device that (a) operates with a net or receptacle; (b) is towed on the seabed; and (c) is capable of capturing fish.
