POULTRY AND POULTRY EGGS (CONDmONS OF IMPORTATION) ORDER made unikr sections 2 and 13 o. 12/1965 I. This Order may be cited as the l:'oultry and Poultry Eggs Citation. (Conditions of Importation) Order. 2. In this Order "poultry'' means any live bird of the following Intetptetation. species, that is to say, any domestic fowl, turkey, goose, duck, guinea fowl, pheasant or pigeon. 3. For the purposes of this Order (a) poultry shall 'oe included in the definition of the expres- spo:1a1 sion "animal'' in section 2 of the Act. meaninss (b) Newcastle Disease, fowl pest, fowl typhoid and pul lorum diireru.e are hereby declared to he di~nses within the meaning of the Act. 4. (1) Subject to paragraph (2), no poultry or poultry eggs shall be 1mpo""ti•• impnrt~ into Guyana from any country other than thoi;e countries of CIIUJ9. specified in the Schedule. (2) Poultry or poultry eggs imported from any of the countri .. specified in the Schedule shall be accompanied by a certificate of hc11lth aigned by the proper authority in the country of origin to tho effect that the poultry or poultry eggs emanated from Docks free from Newcastle Disease, fowl pest, fowl typhoid and pullorum disease. s.
