These rules may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Importation) (Licence Fees) Rules 1995 and shall take effect in respect of any licence applied for after the 2nd of March, 1995. Licence fees. 2. The fee specified in the second column of the Schedule shall be payable in respect of the corresponding item in the first column of the Schedule and shall be payable to the Chief Environmental Health Officer. SCHEDULE Rule 2 FEES IN RESPECT OF IMPORT LICENCES FOR ANIMALS AND BIRDS Animals and Birds and numbers in the consignment Fee Importation of dogs, cats, horses and other animals requiring particular vaccination status £15 per animal Importation of birds: Under 10 in any one consignment £ 5.00 10-50 in any one consignment £15.00 Over 50 in any one consignment £20.00 Importation of fish: 1-20 in any one consignment £ 1.00 Over 20 in any one consignment £ 5.00 Others (hamsters, mice, chipmunks etc): Under 5 in any one consignment £ 1.00 Over 5 in any one consignment £ 5.00
