Small quantities of primary production of feed and requirements for placing them on market Regulation No. 64 of the Minister of Agriculture of 25 April 2007 RTL1, 04.05.2007, 37, 641 Entered into force 07.05.2007 This Regulation is established on the basis of subsection 6 (10) of the Feedingstuffs Act and in accordance with Article 2.3 of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down requirements for feed hygiene (OJ L 35, 08.02.2005, pp. 1–22). § 1. Small quantities of primary production of feed The small quantities of primary production of feed specified in Article 2.2.d of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council means offering for sale, sale or delivery in any other manner for a charge or without charge (hereinafter placing on the market) of up to five tons of primary production of feed within one calendar year if the primary production of feed to be placed on the market originates in the manufacturing operations of the feed business operator and it is delivered to an agricultural producer whose agricultural enterprise is located in Estonia. § 2. Requirements for placing small quantities of primary production of feed on market (1) The small quantities of primary production of feed to be placed on the market shall comply with the requirements provided in the Feedingstuffs Act and shall have undergone only simple physical treatment, including cleaning, packaging, storage, natural drying or ensiling. (2) The small quantities of primary production of feed to be placed on the market shall be protected against contamination and spoilage in all the stages of handling of feed and shall not pose a risk of contamination in the course of the next stages of handling. 1 RTL = Riigi Teataja Lisa = Appendix to the State Gazette
