2001 NATIONAL PARKS AND ACT 8 33 PROTECTED AREAS (AMENDMENT) VERNON L. SHAW President AN ACT TO AMEND THE NATIONAL PARKS AND PRO TECTED AREAS ACT, CHAP. 42:02. BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica as follows: NATIONAL PARKS AND PROTECTED AREAS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2001. Interpretation. Ch.42:02. Amendment of Section 4 ofthe Act. 2001 NATIONAL PARKS AND ACT 8 PROTECTED AREAS (AMENDMENT) 2. In this Act, the National Parks and Protected Areas Act is referred to as "the Act." 3. Section 4(2) of the Act is amended by inserting the fol lowing as paragraph (c): "(c). amend the Schedule to include therein a descrip tion of any area designated as a national park. 4. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 4th day of January, 2000. ALEX F. PHILLIP (MRS.)
