2. Primary objectives of A.'11endments to Schedule the Boru·d 1992-93, No. 17 An Act to amend the Ministrv o~ Health Act 1991 (21 May 1993 BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled @d by the authority of the same, as follows:
1. Short Title - This Act may be cited as the i\iEnistry of Health 1\mendment Act 1992-93, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Ministry of Health Act 1991 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").
2. Primary objectives of the ~oard Section 6 of the principal Act.is amended, by - I • (a) re-numbering the exi~ting section 6 as subsection 11 "(1) of section 6; ~rid . (bl adding after that subsection, the foilowing new subsection - I 1 "(2) In the carryin~ out of its ~bj , the Board shall gite effect-to any policy directives ~ given to the Bcpard by the Minister." I I . I 3. lunendments to Schedule - PJrt I of the Schedule to the principal Act is amended, by deleting the words "Nursing Practice Act 1989n and substituting the words l"Nun;es Act 1986". ~ ·I This Act is administered by the Minis/try of Heal th.
